I just want to have 5 (6) frame synced outputs out of one nMac Pro.įor future Millumin v2 with smpte feature it would be great to have frame locked playback with more than one machine and perhaps there is an option that Millumin can double check the playback position and compare the position of the "play heads" every frame and then readjust/respeed the different machines to guarantee the sync. That works fine but is somewhat time consuming. When the fade to black transition ends, the Auto Go launches automatically the Shutter closure column. And there is no need for me to sync machines at this moment. I managed to do it in Millumin V4 by inserting a column before the one containing the shutters closure command, and putting in that new column an Auto Go object found in the programs section. With the Mac Pro I can play easily 8 ProRes 1080p50 with stable to compare Millumin with watch out/pandoras box is not fair, as you already said. Indeed, audio devices can have multiple channels : for example. ![]() ![]() ![]() Thx for have you tried to scale and position both clips on only one of your displays and then film the screen with your camera? Because even the same type of displays can produce frame delays.Īnd could you try to use 720p50 "time code test file" instead of 1080p50? If QuickTime does not play your clips at stable 50fps it seems that your machine is not strong enough, and if this is the case Millumin will have the same problem. To do so, open the device-panel ( CMD+K) and go to the timecode tab : Then click on the + button and choose the kind of timecode you want to get in Millumin : In the case of a LTC timecode, you need to select from which audio device you receive the timecode, and from which channel.
